Patricia Jepsen
Patricia Jepsen, from Rising Sun, Maryland, trained at the University of Delaware, University of North Florida. Patricia had an early love of Art. However, she began her professional life as a model in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia.
She later studied Psychology and went on to a full time career working with University students. She retired in 2002 and returned to her first passion.
Patricia’s painting gained public attention when picked up by the CBS Sunday Morning Show as a promo for the Meryl Streep film “Florence”.
Her vibrant work is gaining popularity in the States and Abroad. As she has just returned from a solo Art Exhibition in London, England at the prestigious Park Theatre, where she was commissioned to paint a portrait of the world renowned actor Ian McKellan, the Star of Lord of the Rings. Her art work is usually notable for the Eyes which are a key feature in her work. This flows from her aim to reflect a person’s soul; this is why we loved having her as the illustrator of the “Parallel Worlds”.
